About us:

The real strength of ROMD Malta Community is our people, our Board of Trustees is made up of volunteers (all unpaid) who come from varied backgrounds and bring with them a mix of skills and experiences.

RoMd brings the Romanian flag and culture to our friends and hosts in Malta. We count about 4000 legal residents, about 2000 seasonal workers and we estimate another 300 to 500 people residing in Malta without having applied for a resident card.
Our community it is well integrated in the Maltese society, just few isolated examples are bringing our country name on the news papers, beggars and thieves.
Romanians are residing mainly in the Northern area of Malta but we can find them also in Gozo or in tiny residential areas such as Ħad-Dingli or Ħal Safi.
Highly qualified Romanians make us proud by sustaining the locals in Governmental institutions,  hospitals, ships and shipyards, architecture, art and small businesses activities.
We always count on our volunteers and group leaders and we like to get involved in charity, social life, integration and sustainability.

RoMd is the only legal registered voluntary organisation in Malta supervised and sustained by the Commissioner for VOs.
The aim of the ROMD Malta Community shall be the improvement in the daily quality of life for Romanian nationals on Maltese territory.
